Hey...great new week...sun's out...off to a flying start I hope!
Governorship Elections Results:
So amidst all the bloodshed,large scale violence,misconduct and outright rigging that went on nationwide this past weekend(wont go into details,that's a whole OTHER post),results of some of the winners were announced...remember this is subject to...well just about anything...it's Nigeria after-all!!!So know your future Governors now...
PS:just to let you know what the acronyms stand for in the results.

Akwa Ibom: PDP Obong Godswill Akpabio
Kogi:PDP candidate and incumbent governor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris
Bayelsa: PDP Timipreye Sylva

People are calling for a re-election as gross misconduct was observed at the elections,with even the Deputy Governor absconding with ballot boxes. Youths and half-naked women have taken to the streets in protest to INECs results,barricading main roads. A mock coffin of Agagu was carried round the town and they have literally placed the INEC chairman of the state under "house arrest"

Zamfara: ANPP Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi
Adamawa: PDP Admiral Murtala Nyako
Edo: PDP Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor
Massive dissatisfaction in the state as youths have taken to the streets protesting the results.Lives,property have been lost,as they are convinced Comrade Oshiomhole won the elections.
Bauchi: ANPP candidate Isa Yuguda
So yeah,these elections are a real glimpse into what the Presidential Elections will be like...people been elected regardless of the votes...so should people even bother to vote at all as we already know who will be the next president? There are so many questions i want 2 ask, but i just dont want to discuss politics on this blog abeg...lemme goto Uk Naija's n Omodudu's n Solomon Sydelle's political blog...
