Shopping for Vintage and More...

Hey whassup guyz, did everyone have a great weekend?Ours was very laid back this tyme...we dont want to have "a burnout" too fast oh!Anyway,on to the post...

Funmi Odulate-Shopping For Vintage

If lyk me,the word vintage brings to mind rifling thru rails in a charity shop...then you definitely know that skin crawling feeling "we" get or the images of "witchcraft being passed thru sum louboutins" ;-) you see, but this fabulous writer Funmi who is a Fashion expert and Journalist(She compiled the weekly "Stella Loves" pages in Stella Magazine at the Sunday Telegraph and has written for some of the world's most glamourous fashion publications including Harpers Bazaar, Vogue and InStyle)...sets about dispelling our fears in this new book on how to get vintage without walking into a charity shop...HOW???And have we said how proud we are that she's Nigerian yet?!?!?!

Interesting Fact tho--Funmi began her career as an accountant, graduating with an Accounting and Finance degree that she will be putting to use in two new projects to be launched by the end of the year. These will be a handmade beauty line called "Tabitha Rose" as well as a vintage fashion business "The Old Empire".

Click HERE aswell to read an article she once wrote for The Guardian about her mother died just as she was trying to find a way to tell her she was pregnant at 17.

NaijaCampus:
This is a new website/forum that promises to discuss issues such as education and any other topics concerning the welfare of our great students in Nigeria and is the "First Online Naija Students Site" apparently. Hot topics on education, romance and councelling, Fiction,Admissions,Phones,Computers,Programming,Business,Jokes and a whole lot of other issues are discussed here". Anyways, would do no harm to check it out, especially for the jokes promised ;-) NaijaCampus

NV u deliver again..nice one on all the info..

Good on Funmi Odulate I wish her the very best in all her work…sad about her mum…but God knows why sha.

NaijaCampus interesting I’d definitely be checking that out once in a while…I might just be able to keep myself entertained.

So would I be wrong in saying that the people in Oju local governemt do not pay their NEPA bill when it comes through every month??cos YES light or no light…NEPA still brings bills.

£25 ke to see Styl-Plus sing their whole album old and new all through the nite..I think I’d be better in the comfort of my room playing their album on Playback…
Really I’m not a bad person…but they should have come last summer when the album was still relatively new…but now…NA men!!

Congrats to Oge Okoye and all Award Winners.

What madness. No power since 1973? Na wa oh. I will definitely inform my mom about this. She is constantly complaining about PHCN ("Power Holders" as she calls them). She has every right to be upset, but, maybe this story will calm her down somewhat. Nothing like someone else's life to put yours in perspective.
I like the way you're always claiming all our naija people...lol

Congrats to Oge on her baby.

Have a fabulous week Missy!

Hello everyone!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a thing, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of ponzy-like structure, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For several years , I make money with the help of these programs.
I'm with no money problems now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and I started with funny 500 bucks.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Visit my web site to get additional info.
