Super Eagles and Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu has called on his club to allow him leave Fratton Park to join Ajax, but the club may not let off him when the transfer window opens this January.The 30-year-old who is the club's top scorer with nine goals is keen to make a return to the Dutch club.He said,"I want to go to Ajax.Portsmouth should be grateful for what I have been able to do for them and allow me go".
Finally the census results revealed that there are 140 million nigerians(I'm sure it's more than that sef,we r everywhere!)"The population of Nigeria is 140,003,542, the National Population Commission (NPC) has announced in Abuja".If you cast your mind back,the census took place in April last year...me i'm not saying anything abeg!The figures indicated that the population of males is 71,709,859, while females are 68,293,683.

The search for a new wife by former Minister of Information Chief Alex Akinyele, ended on New Year eve as he took to the altar his new heartthrob Ms Ella Iyalla.Making good his promise never to venture beyond the shores of Nigeria again for a spouse Akinyele picked his new wife,who is Kalabari by birth, from Rivers State.Akinyele had married twice before,he lost his first wife Lady Yvonne a South African to death after 30 years and six months of wedlock.His marriage to the second wife Maria an Indian lady was terminated few years after following unresolvable differences between the couple.
No fewer than seven persons were shot dead on New Years day in Port Harcourt by gunmen suspected to be cultists.The gunmen, said to number about seven, were dressed in military and police uniforms.The attack in the Rumokurushi area of the Rivers State capital came barely one week after some other persons were felled by an armed gang in Elelenwo near Port Harcourt,thus fuelling suspicion of reprisal killings.
